Jorge Taufua says he would work in the Manly Sea Eagles canteen if it prevented Daly Cherry-Evans and the Trbojevic brothers from leaving the club.

New South Wales Blues State of Origin stars Jake and Tom Trbojevic are contracted to Manly until next year, with Des Hasler understandably eager for the duo sign new deals despite salary cap concerns.

Samoa international Taufua has given Manly officials food for thought by revealing how eager he is for the siblings and Queensland Maroons captain Cherry-Evans to stay put.

"They're kind of like a big three," Taufua told NRL.com.

"This club, firstly they've done great to nurture Tom and Jake to where they are.

"If half of the squad have to work at the canteen or something to keep the brothers here, then I'll put my hand up.

"I know they bleed maroon and white and they don't want to be anywhere else. Knowing how humble they are they probably would sacrifice pay to stay here with Cherry, with this group."
