Asian Champions Trophy: Malaysia vs India

After kicking off their 2018 Asian Champions Trophy campaign with two wins, the Speedy Tigers have three more matches to play this week to book their spot in the semi-finals, with the biggest one arguably against defending champions India. The Bharat Army have had a superior record against Malaysia over the years, but the latter were the victors in their most recent meeting at the 2018 Asian Games.

UCL: Manchester United vs Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to Old Trafford for the second time since leaving Manchester United as Juventus head to Manchester for their UEFA Champions League clash (which means Paul Pogba, if he plays, will also be facing his old club). United fans should still remember what happened the last time the Portuguese was at the ground, with him scoring a decisive goal for Real Madrid that knocked his former club out of the Champions League in 2013.

World Series: Boston Red Sox vs Los Angeles Dodgers (Game 1)

After coming up short against the Houston Astros last year, the Los Angeles Dodgers should be relishing another crack at the World Series for the second consecutive season after beating the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series. Fun fact: the last time they faced each other in a World Series was over 100 years ago!

ONE Championship: Pursuit of Greatness

The One Championship returns to Yangon, Myanmar, once again this October, with two-division superstar Aung La "The Burmese Python" N Sang defending his ONE Middleweight World Championship on home soil against the undefeated Mohammad "O Lutador" Karaki in the main event. Malaysian MMA fighter Keanu Subba will also be in action, taking on Myanmar's Phoe Thaw in a featherweight bout.

AFC Cup Final: Air Force Club vs Altyn Asyr

Regardless of the result in this weekend's AFC Cup Final, history will be made. If defending champions Air Force Club win, they will set a new record of three consecutive AFC Cup wins and equal Al-Kuwait's achievement of winning the AFC Cup three times. As for Altyn Asyr, a victory will see them become the first club from Turkmenistan to lift the trophy.

UFC Fight Night: Volkan vs Smith

After the highs (and lows) of the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor fight earlier this month, the UFC returns with Fight Night 138, featuring a light heavyweight bout between Volkan "No Time" Oezdemir and Anthony "Lionheart" Smith as the main event. With Oezdemir's previous fight being a defeat to light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, Smith will get to size himself up in his quest for the UFC title.

STL: ATM Guardian vs Penang Black Panthers

The ATM Guardians handed defending champions Penang Black Panthers their first defeat of the 2018 Sepak Takraw League season last Sunday, strengthening their position as league leaders at the same time.
