Gaming lovers will stand a chance to win high-end gaming hardware, including the highly-acclaimed Razer Phone, worth RM20,000 in total in a lucky draw at the Malaysia Cyber Games 2018.
It was announced by Salleh Said Keruak, Minister of Communications and Multimedia, during Monday's official launch of the event, which will take place at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, on January 13 and 14 and also be shown on eGG Network (Astro CH808).
It will be open to all visitors, until the lucky draw tickets are fully redeemed, and conducted by Prime Minister Najib Razak on the final day of the event.
Salleh also said admission for both days is free for the public.
Held for the first time since the inaugural edition in 2015, the Malaysia Cyber Games 2018 will feature nine different games, namely Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DotA 2, Tekken 7, Injustice 2, Street Fighter V, FIFA 18, F1 2017, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, with a prize pool of RM300,000 up for grabs.
