eGG Network, Astro's dedicated esports channel, has partnered FOX Sports Asia to co-organise the Virtuelle Bundesliga Southeast Asia Qualifier to look for the best FIFA 18 gamer in the region.

The tournament, which will be competed on the PlayStation 4 platform from February 10 to 11 in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, will be open to 256 individuals residing in South East Asia and test their gaming skills at the same time, as they will only be allowed to use Bundesliga teams and players.

The eight open qualifying winners, along with eight seeded players, will enter the main qualifying event, where they will compete for a share of a RM6000 prize pool and a chance to represent the region at the Virtuelle Bundesliga finals in Germany




"2018 is an exciting year for football fans and we are glad to kick off the year with the Virtuelle Bundesliga South East Asia Qualifier, co-organised with FOX Sports Asia, to look for the top FIFA 18 player in South East Asia," said Lee Choong Khay, Vice President of Astro Sports Business.
