The Trail Blazers are rewarding Terry Stotts for his team's deep run in the playoffs this season.

Portland general manager Neil Olshey told reporters Tuesday the team has come to terms on a multi-year contract extension with the coach.

Stotts led the Trail Blazers to their first conference finals appearance since the 1999-00 season this year where Portland fell to the Warriors in four games.

Since Stotts took over Portland in 2012, the Blazers have made the playoffs in six of the last seven seasons and won 50 games or more three times.

The Trail Blazers are 325-249 in Stotts' tenure while boasting a top-10 offense in five of his seven years at the helm.

In other Portland news, the Trail Blazers are expected to give All-Star point guard Damian Lillard a supermax extension this offseason, stretching out his deal to six years, according to Yahoo Sports.

He has two years remaining on his five-year deal, and, with the extension, he will make $191 million more through the 2024-25 season.
