Gregg Popovich is known for being concise in his responses to the media, but his pre-game talk with the press was ridiculously short on Saturday.

The Spurs coach had what might be the shortest press conference ever ahead of San Antonio's Game 4 matchup against the Nuggets.

Popovich merely said "thank you" before leaving the stand, as there appeared to be nothing the media wanted to ask him.

The seventh-seeded Spurs have made postseason appearances for 22 consecutive seasons and won five championships under Popovich during that span. The face of the organization is likely just focused on gearing up his team to make another deep playoff run.

Despite trading three-time All-Star and 2014 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard for DeMar DeRozan this offseason, San Antonio is operating like a fine-tuned machine against the Nuggets.

The Spurs are underdogs this year, which is unusual. But they enter Game 4 with a 2-1 lead over second-seeded Denver. "The Spurs Way" is working just fine for DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge and the team's breakout star Derrick White so far.

White erupted for a career-high 36 points in Game 3, outplaying the lackluster shooting of the Nuggets backcourt. The Spurs' player development is clearly still top notch.

Popovich led San Antonio to post the second best home record (32-9) in the NBA in 2018-19, so the pressure is on for Denver, one of the few teams that posted a better record at home (34-7).
