Donovan Mitchell is confident that the Jazz's first-round playoff series against the Thunder won't go to Game 7.

Mitchell made a rather bold statement while walking off the court after the Jazz fell, 107-99, in Game 5, missing a chance to close out the series. Utah blew a 25-point lead in the second half as it couldn't fend off a strong rally from Russell Westbrook, who had 45 points and 15 rebounds.

But Mitchell still thinks the Jazz can hold off OKC.

After a fan yelled "Let's go!" at the guard, Mitchell responded, "Hey, we'll see y'all next year, all right?"

The only way for Mitchell's comment to be true would be if the Jazz can finish off the series in Game 6 as it shifts back to Utah.

The Jazz lead, 3-2, and have an opportunity to end the series in Friday's Game 6 at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Tipoff is set for 10:30 pm ET on ESPN.
