European guard Luka Doncic is widely considered one of the top prospects in the 2018 NBA Draft. But, he may not be selected with one of the first three picks.

The Suns are expected to select either Doncic or Arizona center Deandre Ayton with the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. If Phoenix elects to take Ayton, the Kings and Hawks are unlikely to draft Doncic with the second and third pick, respectively, according to a report citing unidentified sources from ESPN.

A team may trade up to select Doncic and he is not expected to fall past Dallas, which owns the fifth selection, according to ESPN’s report.

The 19-year-old Doncic recently won the Euroleague MVP and his Real Madrid team captured a league title this week.

Ayton averaged 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game as a freshman at Arizona this season. Duke’s Marvin Bagley III and Texas’ Mohamed Bamba are also said to be in consideration for a top draft spot.
