Kawhi Leonard is looking to showcase his skills.

The Spurs star is "seriously considering participation" in Team USA's first minicamp with Gregg Popovich in Las Vegas next week, ESPN reported, citing unidentified league sources.

The news comes after ESPN reported earlier Tuesday that LeBron James will not be in attendance for USA Basketball's minicamp despite being in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Leonard is looking to leave San Antonio, but the team isn't willing to let him go without fair compensation. The Spurs reportedly don't want to trade Leonard within the Western Conference, and ESPN noted Tuesday that the Raptors are in the “driver’s seat” to pull off a deal, though an agreement is not imminent.

It had been reported last week that the Spurs "could care less if their 27-year-old superstar is unhappy" and San Antonio is "not in a rush to move him if their asking price — regardless of team — is not met."

Team USA's minicamp is scheduled for July 25-27 at UNLV's Mendenhall Center.
