Joel Embiid is still under the weather.
The 76ers center is listed as probable for Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Raptors as he continues to deal with an illness.
According to TSN, Embiid missed shootaround Tuesday morning and he is dealing with an upper respiratory infection that kept him away from the team.
Embiid was off his game Sunday in the team’s Game 4 loss, scoring just 11 points on 2-of-7 shooting and grabbing eight rebounds after scoring 33 and adding 10 rebounds in Philadelphia’s Game 3 win last Thursday. He revealed after the game that he was dealing with some kind of illness.
“I didn’t have a good night,” Embiid told reporters, via KYW Newsradio. “Didn’t sleep. Guess I needed an IV at 6 in the morning. But, just try to play and try to get the win. Obviously, it wasn’t enough.”
Elbiid said he wasn’t sure what his exact diagnosis was.
“If you can’t really sleep and you need an IV, it has to be pretty bad,” Embiid said. “But, it doesn’t matter. Once I step on the court, I’ve got to do a better job.”
Embiid, 25, is averaging 18.0 points and 8.0 rebounds on 36 percent shooting through the first four games against the Raptors.
With the second-round series tied at 2-2, Toronto is slated to host Philadelphia at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday.
