All the best badminton players such as Kento Momota, Chen Long, Akane Yamaguchi and Tai Tzu-ying have gathered in Basel, Switzerland, to battle it out to be world champions. With the Summer Olympics taking place next year, there's no bigger motivation to do well at the World Championships because historically, the winners tend to go on to perform well at the following year's Olympics.

MPFL: Pahang vs Selangor

Schedule: Wednesday, August 21 @ 8:30pm
Channel: Astro Arena (CH801 & CH802)
With just four points separating them, the top two of the Malaysia Premier Futsal League clash again. Pahang escaped with a point the last time they met, so can they do better this time against Selangor, who are still unbeaten so far?

The Ashes: Third Test

Schedule: August 22-26
Channel: Astro Cricket Plus (CH825)
After the second Test ended in a draw, the competition heats up at Lord's with the crucial third Test! Australia, who won the first Test, will retain the urn with a win, while England need at least a draw to remain in contention. And to accommodate all the action, we have opened a new channel.

ITTF World Tour: Czech Open

Schedule: August 24-25
Channel: Astro Supersport 2 (CH812 & CH832)
Ahead of the 10th tournament on the 2019 ITTF World Tour, is China's dominance finally running out of steam? At last week's Bulgarian Open, Chinese players failed to clinch more than two titles in a tournament for the first time this season, winning only the women's singles and doubles events.

MotoGP: British Grand Prix

Schedule: Sunday, August 25 @ 5:30pm
Channel: Fox Sports (CH815 & CH835)
We head down to Silverstone for the first time since 2017 after last year's race was unfortunately cancelled due to unsafe track conditions. Can Andrea Dovizioso, who won the 2017 edition, get a second straight victory after pipping Marc Marquez to the Austrian GP win two weeks ago and inject more excitement into the title race?

Serie A: Parma vs Juventus

Schedule: Sunday, August 25 @ 12:00am
Channel: Fox Sports 2 (CH816 & CH836)
Serie A action returns this week with defending champions Juventus kicking off their title defence at Parma. Besides that match, Fox Sports' coverage includes Fiorentina vs Napoli, Udinese vs Milan, and more!

EPL: Liverpool vs Arsenal

Schedule: Sunday, August 25 @ 12:30am
Channel: Astro Supersport 3 (CH813 & CH833)
After starting the season with two wins each, Liverpool and Arsenal take on each other with their winning start at stake. Recent head-to-head meetings suggest Jurgen Klopp's side might have an upper hand as they have not lost to the Gunners since April 2015, a run that includes a 5-1 thrashing at Anfield last year.

Bundesliga: Schalke 04 vs Bayern Munich

Schedule: Sunday, August 25 @ 12:30am
Channel: Fox Sports (CH815 & CH835)
Bayern's games against Schalke have been mostly one-sided in the past few years, with the former having not lost since 2010, but it remains one of the most highly anticipated games in Bundesliga. And with how the Bavarians finding themselves trailing behind early in the title race after a 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin, Schalke will surely relish the opportunity to pile pressure on the champions.

MLS: New York City vs NY Red Bulls

Schedule: Sunday, August 25 @ 7:00am
Channel: beIN Sports Max (CH819)
Despite being one of the newer rivalries in the Major League Soccer, there's no shortage of antagonism in the Hudson River derby, especially after a controversial goal decided their previous meeting in favour of the Red Bulls. With no love lost, expect some fireworks at the Yankee Stadium.

MLS: LAFC vs LA Galaxy

Schedule: Monday, August 26 @ 10:30am
Channel: beIN Sports (CH818)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Co. handed runaway Western Conference leaders LAFC a rare defeat when they met in the previous El Trafico and they must do it again this time. This is because, local bragging rights asides, it is crucial for the Galaxy, currently third in the conference, to win to improve their chances of qualifying for the MLS Cup Playoffs.
