Timea Babos will meet doubles partner Lucie Safarova in the Hungarian Ladies Open final after they both battled through last-four clashes on Saturday.
The pair will vie for the inaugural title in Budapest, but not before they play alongside each other in the doubles semis.
Safarova was first to seal her place with a 6-4 6-3 victory over Carina Witthoeft, the Czech breaking in the opening game of either set as she progressed in 84 minutes.
Top seed Babos also secured a straight-sets win over Julia Goerges, but she needed to fight in the opener to gain the early advantage.
After wasting her first set point the home favourite made no mistake with the second, and she then racked up five successive games on her way to a comfortable 7-5 6-1 win.
