There will be plenty of focus on Los Angeles this season, but Paul George is not worried about how the Clippers compare to the Lakers.
One of the Los Angeles Clippers' newest stars will miss preseason and the start of the regular NBA campaign.
"I'm where I want to be right now at this point in the season almost starting," George told ESPN Sunday.
Doc Rivers said Kawhi Leonard zeroed in solely on Paul George, who the Clippers had on a longer list of potential targets.

The arena, which would be in Inglewood, California, faces opposition from MSG, which owns the nearby Forum.
"I wouldn't necessarily agree with that because that would infer that we were wanting to trade Paul George," Presti told reporters Thursday.
Now a member of the Los Angeles Clippers but Kawhi Leonard revealed he almost landed elsewhere.
“When (the Clippers) presented the opportunity of playing with Paul (George), it was easy, it was a yes,” Leonard told ESPN.
