Recovering from a torn ACL, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson will be absent until at least February.
The team expressed optimism that Thompson will play at some point in the upcoming season.
“I didn’t appreciate the language he used with Bahamians,” Thompson told USA Today.
“I’ll miss him. I know he’s going to be a huge asset for the Lakers," Thompson told the Los Angeles Times.
"So many great teams in history, not only basketball but all sports, have been struck by an injury bug," Thompson said.
