The Atlanta Hawks have brought back Vince Carter for a record-breaking 22nd NBA season.
The 42-year-old wing was a free agent this offseason and now fills one of the last two roster spots for the Hawks.
"Just waiting for the right opportunity, and nothing has changed as far as that goal, and that dream of mine is to still play,” Carter said.
Vince Carter, 42, has played 21 seasons with eight different teams.
Vince Carter is not done yet as the 42-year-old prepares to continue his career in the NBA.
"I would like to. We’ll see what happens," Carter said Tuesday on his "Winging It" podcast when asked if he will play for the Hawks.
Atlanta Hawks veteran Vince Carter moved into 20th for most points in the NBA.
The eight-time All-Star is now 20th in scoring after netting 12 points in the first half. He has a career 25,280 points.
