The Knicks are “extremely open” to moving Ntilikina in exchange for a late-first or early-second round pick, according to the New York Post.
The 20-year-old guard averaged 5.7 points and 2.8 assists in 43 games in 2018-19.
Ntilikina was selected No. 8 overall by the Knicks in the 2017 NBA Draft, but his future in New York is uncertain after a poor year.
Ntilikina could appear in the rotation down the stretch in the regular season, as New York is far from the playoff picture at 14-58.
Ntilikina has averaged 5.9 points and 2.8 assists in 21.3 minutes per game in 2018-19.
The Knicks' front office appears to be debating whether they want to deal the 20-year-old guard.
“Frank has been struggling and Trey (Burke) is back, (so) let’s take a look at it,” Fizdale said Tuesday.
Ntilikina has averaged 6.4 points and 2.6 assists in 22.7 minutes per game this season.
The second-year guard has averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 assists in 23.1 minutes per game this season.
