The Kelantan Warriors made it eight defeats in a row for the Melaka Titans in the 2018 Sepak Takraw League (STL) Premier season after winning 2-1 at the Gem In Mall, Cyberjaya, on Saturday.

The Titans, currently sitting at the bottom of the league table, actually started well, winning 21-18 in the first set, but inexplicably crashed to a 8-21 second-set loss.

They temporarily regained momentum in the third set, leading 11-4, but eventually allowed the Warriors to come from behind and snatch a 21-19 win.



The Selangor Pistons, second from the bottom, were more fortunate than their fellow strugglers as they ended their four-game losing run.

They defeated the Perak Bison 21-19, 21-17.



Meanwhile, with league leaders ATM Guardians not in action, the Penang Black Panthers and the Kuala Lumpur bounced back from their respective defeats on Friday.

The Black Panthers beat the Terengganu Turtles 21-18, 16-21, 21-11 to move back level on points with the Guardians albeit playing one more game.



The third-place Thunder, two points behind the top two, snapped the Johor Tigris' four-game winning run by winning 21-14, 20-22, 21-14.
