Warrington Wolves saw off struggling rivals Wigan Warriors in Super League on Friday, while London Broncos won at Leeds Rhinos.

Wire were cruising at 18-0 with 20 minutes remaining but almost let Wigan back into the match before securing an ultimately comfortable 25-12 home victory - their fifth win from six matches - in a heated clash.

Jake Mamo and Stefan Ratchford scored tries in a one-sided first half, before Warrington's lead was extended further by ex-Warriors man Josh Charnley following the restart.

A brief rally saw Tom Davies and Willie Isa both cross for the Warriors, who had seen Dan Sarginson sent to the sin bin, yet Jack Hughes sealed the win and condemned the defending champions to a fifth defeat of the season. Tempers had flared in an incident that resulted in Ben Westwood being sent off and two players being sent to the sin bin.

The Broncos got a dramatic win at Leeds in a topsy-turvy encounter as two tries in the last five minutes earned an 18-16 triumph.

Jay Pitts scored the only try of the first half, but the visitors did not cross again until the 75th minute, with Richie Myler, Trent Merrin and Tom Briscoe all going over in the mean time.

However, Matthew Fozard reduced the deficit and fellow substitute Will Lovell then snatched victory in a stunning finale.

Elsewhere, Wakefield Trinity dominated Hull FC in a 32-12 success at the KCOM Stadium.

Quickfire Hull efforts from Danny Houghton and Bureta Faraimo cancelled out Trinity's two first-half tries, but Bill Tupou got his second and Wakefield cruised in a match that saw four yellow cards.
