Warrington Wolves moved to the top of the Super League table on Friday as they dismantled London Broncos 48-12 for a fifth straight win.

The Wire had Tom Lineham in imperious form and he scored three of his side's nine tries in a dominant home showing.

It was Lineham who opened the scoring after 16 minutes and the Wolves held their opponents scoreless to half-time while Josh Charnley, Blake Austin and Jason Clark also crossed for Warrington.

And then the hosts improved further after seeing Nathan Mason get London on the board, the Wire responding with Stefan Ratchford, Ryan Atkins and Austin going over in quick succession.

Another consolatory away try followed through Matty Gee, before Lineham punished the Broncos further with two more scores to complete his hat-trick.

Elsewhere, Castleford Tigers rallied from a dreadful start at home to Wigan Warriors to win 38-28.

In a game of 13 tries, the Tigers found themselves 20-0 down after 23 minutes as Joe Greenwood, Oliver Gildart, George Williams and Joe Burgess went over for Wigan.

But the game was completely turned on its head and, although Gildart and Burgess would each score again, Castleford ran riot.

The home side shared the scoring around with Oliver Holmes, Calum Turner, Mitch Clark, Matt Cook, Adam Milner, Tuoyo Egodo and Peter Mata'utia all on target in a sublime show of character.

In Friday's other match, Wakefield Trinity squeaked past Huddersfield Giants 17-16 thanks to David Fifita's second-half double.
