England international George Williams will join the Canberra Raiders from the Wigan Warriors, who signed half-back Jackson Hastings.

Williams, who has played 10 Tests for England, has signed a three-year deal with the Raiders commencing in 2020.

On a busy day for Wigan, the Super League club announced the signing of Salford Red Devils playmaker Hastings.

Hastings, 23, will join the club at the end of the season, signing a two-year deal.

"This a hugely significant signing for Wigan Warriors. In Jackson Hastings, we have secured the services of one of the most sought-after talents in the game, having fought off interest from around Super League and in the NRL," Warriors executive director Kris Radlinski said in a statement.

"Jackson has a burning desire to win things in England and that ultimately led to him joining us and turning down bigger money elsewhere.

"His attacking nous with ball-in-hand and his running game have lit up the Betfred Super League since his arrival in the UK in 2018. Furthermore, I believe his leadership and influence will play a big role for us in 2020 and beyond.

"Not only are we excited to see what he can bring to us on the pitch and on the training paddock, we are looking forward to seeing how Jackson immerses himself with the Wigan Warriors community and how he engages with our loyal fanbase as one of the league's most recognisable and popular personalities."

The Warriors also announced Dan Sarginson, who has won two Super League titles with Wigan, will leave at the end of the season.

In a big day for Wigan, head coach Adrian Lam penned a one-year extension to remain until the end of 2020.
