Wests Tigers star Josh Reynolds will miss the remainder of the NRL season as he undergoes shoulder surgery.

Reynolds will have surgery on his right scapula after suffering with issues throughout the current campaign, with the Tigers aiming to have him back fit for the start of next year.

According to the NRL, five-eighth Reynolds has been playing on despite, at times, having no feeling in one arm.

Wests are 10th in the ladder, four points off the top eight.

Reynolds has scored two tries in five NRL appearances this term.
