Anthony Gelling has been suspended by Warrington Wolves amid an internal investigation into conduct away from the club.

The New Zealand-born back has played in both of Warrington's Super League games this season after arriving from Widnes Vikings.

A Wolves statement read: "Warrington Wolves can confirm that centre Anthony Gelling will not be available for selection pending a club investigation into conduct away from the club.

"Gelling is fully supportive of the investigation.

"The club and player will be making no further comment at this time."

Gelling previously represented Wigan Warriors and was a member of the 2016 side that defeated Warrington in the Grand Final.

He has also represented NRL side New Zealand Warriors. Warrington face Wakefield Trinity on Sunday.
