Warrington Wolves ran in 11 tries on their way to a thumping 63-12 Super League victory over Hull FC at the KCOM Stadium.

The 2018 Grand Final runners-up had opened up a 34-6 lead by half-time and continued their relentless assault after the break, with Blake Austin ending the game with four tries.

Austin, who arrived in Warrington from NRL side Canberra Raiders in the close-season, had three tries under his belt by the 32nd minute.

Josh Charnley celebrated his return to the England fold with a hat-trick, while Tom Lineham crossed twice and Ben Murdoch-Masila and Jordan Lane also touched down.

The result means Warrington have now won seven of their eight matches so far this season.

The only team who can better that record is St Helens, who stayed perfect with a 36-24 win against Hull KR on Friday.

Saints opened up a 16-0 lead but trailed 18-16 at the interval after Rovers mounted a fightback.

However, Kyle Amor and Aaron Smith crossed in quick succession before Regan Grace made sure of the win in the closing stages.

Saints lead Warrington by two points at the top of Super League.
