Pro14 Conference A high-flyers Glasgow Warriors and Munster eased to home wins over Ulster and Cardiff Blues respectively on Friday.

Glasgow and Munster already occupied first and second in the conference before continuing their fine campaigns with comfortable victories.

The Warriors had far too much for Ulster, despite conceding the opening try in their 30-7 triumph.

Rob Herring crossed for the visitors after eight minutes, but they did not score again after the successful conversion and Glasgow soon took control with tries for Fraser Brown and Adam Hastings.

Tommy Seymour and Zander Ferguson scored either side of half-time and the Warriors were able to cruise to the finish.

Munster initially found life a little tougher but came past Cardiff 45-21.

The Blues were in front through Tomos Williams and, although Chris Farrell and Jean Kleyn hit back, the visitors reclaimed their lead early in the second half after scoring through Aled Summerhill and Rey Lee-Lo.

However, the pendulum swung definitively back in Munster's favour as the second half wore on.

First, CJ Stander went through, then the home side took complete control as Conor Murray and Andrew Conway crossed five minutes apart, before Sam Arnold added his name to the scoresheet.
