Catalans Dragons made it two wins from two to kick off their 2017 Super League campaign as Luke Walsh kicked them to a 16-14 victory at Hull FC on Friday.
The half-back contributed 12 points as the French club reversed a half-time deficit to go top of an embryonic table.
The hosts led 8-4 at the interval thanks to a late try from Carlos Tuimavave, which owed much to a fantastic burst from Sika Manu.
Richie Myler touched down within a minute of the restart to help send Catalans back in front, before Liam Watts looked to have swung momentum back in Hull's favour.
However, Walsh's reliable boot proved the matchwinner, splitting the posts with two more penalties to send Catalans top ahead of a busy Friday of action in the Super League.
