There will be no shortage of star quality at this year's United States Grand Prix, with Bruno Mars and Britney Spears set to perform at the Circuit of the Americas [COTA].

Eleven-time Grammy winner Mars, who has twice featured in Super Bowl half-time shows, will perform his 24K Magic World show on Saturday night in Texas, following qualifying for the 18th race of the Formula One season.

Spears, another international pop icon, will close out the weekend with a post-race concert on Sunday.

Bobby Epstein, the founder and chairman of COTA, said the performances of Mars and Spears would contribute to "an incredible weekend for race and music fans alike".

High-profile musicians are becoming a regular feature at the US GP, with Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake having performed at the respective 2016 and 2017 events.
