Martial arts fans will finally get to see the spectacle that awaits them at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH on Friday, 6 September.

The roster of superstar athletes that will grace Ho Chi Minh City’s Phu Tho Indoor Stadium includes some of the biggest ONE Super Series names, some of the hardest-hitting heavyweight titans, and some of the toughest young talents on the rise.

Before The Home Of Martial Arts heads to Vietnam, we take a look back at three of the most memorable performances from the stars who are competing on the bill.

Nong-O Finishes Suzuki In World Title Defense

ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defended his World Title against Hiroaki “Kaibutsukun” Suzuki and claimed victory by unanimous decision at ONE: WARRIORS OF LIGHT in May.

The Japanese challenger had no answer to the Muay Thai excellence put on display by the Thai legend.

Nong-O punished Suzuki with knees and roundhouse kicks. In his masterful performance, the Thai showed poise, technical brilliance, and amazing understanding of range throughout the entire match.

The Evolve product made exceptional use of his legs, and even added punches and spinning back elbows for good measure, earning all three judges’ nods for the win.

Against Brice “The Truck” Delval at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH, Nong-O has the benefit of experience - he carries over 200 more matches on his resume than his opponent.

This is a chance to cement himself as the premier bantamweight Muay Thai practitioner in the world.

“Killer Bee” Stings Wulan With First-Round TKO

Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen dominated in her debut as she stopped Indonesia’s Dwi Ani Retno Wulan with a powerful first-round TKO at ONE: ROOTS OF HONOR in April.

Nguyen and Wulan locked into a striking battle from the opening bell, and the two traded punches and kicks.

The Tiger Muay Thai-trained Nguyen got the upper hand as she floored Wulan. Then she showed off her grappling skills to quickly get into the mount position.

Once there, “Killer Bee” unloaded some ground and pound, which forced Wulan to roll over, expose her back, and give her opponent the freedom to rain down punches and elbows.

The referee waved off the bout at the 3:55 mark in the opening round to give Nguyen her first win in The Home Of Martial Arts.

“Killer Bee” makes a return to her homeland at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH to face Indian wushu champion Puja “The Cyclone” Tomar.

Silva Slays “The Giant” With A Stunning Knockout

In his ONE Super Series debut this past April, Anderson “Braddock” Silva shocked the martial arts world with a stunning first-round knockout of Andre “The Giant” Meunier.

The two heavyweights clashed fiercely, but Silva showed he had the faster feet among the duo. He evaded several powerful hits thrown by Meunier.

Meunier remained undeterred and continued to lunge forward, which opened him up for Silva’s counter punches.

As Meunier attempted a left hook, "Braddock” let fly a hard right that smashed the massive Aussie’s temple and sent him to the mat for a first-round TKO victory.

Silva wants to repeat his performance again at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH when he squares off against WMC World Champion Beybulat Isaev.

ONE Championship’s next event, ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH, takes place on 6 September in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
