Fans inside the Ryogoku Kokugikan reveled in a night of action from the greatest World Champion martial arts superstars.

Shinya Aoki Scores Lightning-Quick 54-Second Finish
Shinya “Tobikan Judan” Aoki basked in the glory of being the hometown hero in Tokyo, Japan.
The submission ace needed just 54 seconds to finish Honorio “The Rock” Banario with a D’Arce choke and bring his countrymen to their feet.
The Evolve MMA representative displayed his famed grappling ability from the get-go. He secured a tight body lock takedown within the opening minute, transitioned to half guard, and continued to find the space to lock in one of his signature submissions.
On the mat and in a difficult position, Banario did his best to pry free from the Japanese hero’s tight grip. But in doing so, the Team Lakay product inadvertently exposed his neck.
Aoki quickly capitalized and locked in the D’Arce choke so tight, “The Rock” tapped just seconds after.
With another lightning-quick finish in the books, “Tobikan Judan” notched his 29th career submission and improved his record to 44-9.
“The Flash” Submits “The Silencer” To Finish Tetralogy
One of the biggest rivalries in The Home Of Martial Arts played out in the Japanese capital at ONE: CENTURY PART II.
Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes’ second-round rear-naked choke victory over longtime foe Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon marked the end to this incredible rivalry.
In their fourth bout for the ONE Bantamweight World Title, “The Flash” started off slowly.
First, he took down the Filipino hero, and from half guard, he proceeded to deliver stinging punches and elbows. Belingon, to his credit, found a way to get back to his feet before the end of the round, although it was clear Fernandes had the advantage going into the second frame.
“The Silencer” went for his patented low kicks, and even though they found their target, Fernandes retaliated with a takedown off the fence.
The Brazilian moved to side control and looked to keep his opponent on the ground where he could maintain a dominant position.
While escaping, the Team Lakay representative gave up his back and allowed Fernandes to slip in a left arm under his neck, which gave “The Flash” the space he needed to lock in the rear-naked choke finish with 2:16 on the clock.
Fernandes kept his World Title after the spectacular performance and cemented himself as the most dominant Bantamweight World Champion in ONE history.
Aung La N Sang Retains The ONE Light Heavyweight World Title With Emphatic KO Victory
Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang notched the biggest win of his career when he knocked out Brandon “The Truth” Vera in the main event of the night.
With the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title on the line, the clash between the two big men went down as an instant classic.
Each competitor went toe-to-toe in a bruising first-round battle. “The Burmese Python” initiated with punches and leg kicks while Vera responded with body kicks of his own.
The Filipino hero landed a huge knee and followed up with a quick flurry of punches, but Aung La N Sang survived and scrambled to the center of the Circle.
Aung La N Sang took the Filipino into the second round – deep waters that “The Truth” had yet ventured into during his stint in ONE. The Myanmar athlete looked sharp and threw crisp strikes in search of a finish.
This led to a phone booth battle between the titanic duo, with each man trading and unloading heavy shots at will.
In a stunning moment, “The Burmese Python” uncorked a spinning back elbow, which struck his opponent’s temple with force. Vera attempted to reply with one of his own, but instead met a right hook from the reigning World Champion and dropped to the canvas.
Aung La N Sang followed up with a barrage of ground and pound to seal the win by TKO at the 3:23 mark in the second round.
This win marked the 34-year-old’s first successful ONE Light Heavyweight World Title defense and improved his record to 26-10-0.
