After vowing to make better decisions, Jameis Winston appears to have fallen short of his promise.

The Buccaneers quarterback had a golf ball teed off his head at a Derrick Brooks golf event in Florida. He showed off the moment in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, and Tampa Bay fans were less than thrilled.

On the plus-side, Winston did wear a helmet and didn't get hurt.

Winston has dealt with his share of off-field issues since being selected first overall by the Bucs in the 2015 draft. He was sued by a female Uber driver who accused him of groping her in 2016, though the two sides reached a settlement in November.

While playing at Florida State, he also faced allegations of sexual assault before reaching a settlement and was caught on a security camera taking crab legs from a Publix grocery store.

The Bucs are a franchise in desperate need of direction, and Winston is still trying to show he's the leader the team needs.
