The United States women's national team won the 2019 Women's World Cup Sunday, defeating the Netherlands, 2-0, to win their fourth overall title.

Rose Lavelle set the record with her goal in the 61st minute.

The U.S. also joined Germany as the only team to win back-to-back World Cups. Germany accomplished the feat in 2003 and 2007.
