The U.S. Women's national team looks to be rounding into form heading into the World Cup in June.

Tobin Heath scored her ninth goal in her last 12 games and fourth since the start of the new year in a 5-0 victory over New Zealand in an international friendly at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri.

Her effort helped the U.S. win its fifth game in a row and extended the team's stretch without a loss to eight games.

The U.S. followed up with another goal from Rose Lavelle in the 40th minute and took a 2-0 into halftime.

Carli Lloyd's strike in the 61st minute extended the lead and put the game out of reach for New Zealand. Lloyd added another in the 83rd minute for the 110th in her international career.

Sam Mewis added another a minute later to close the game out 5-0.

The USWNT has one more friendly left with Mexico on May 26 before their first game of the World Cup on June 11. That game will be played against Thailand at 3 p.m. ET in France.

The World Cup officially starts June 7.
