Jeffrey Schlupp was left puzzled by CAF's mix-up after the governing body tweeted that he had scored for Ghana, despite not playing against Kenya.

Ghana won 1-0 in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday, with debutant Caleb Ekuban netting the winner.

CAF, however, seemed to think that it was Schlupp – who did not feature for the Black Stars at all – that got the goal, leading to the Crystal Palace player having to comically correct their error.

"I didn't play or score," Schlupp tweeted in response to CAF's post, which was subsequently deleted.
