Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino lauded Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris after his side's win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Kane became Spurs' top goalscorer in European competition as his 24th strike saw Tottenham beat Dortmund 1-0 in the second leg of their last-16 tie, which they won 4-0 on aggregate.

Pochettino once again praised the 25-year-old England captain, who is now up to 23 goals this season.

"I am so happy, you know very well my emotion with him," he told a news conference.

"He is one of the best strikers in the world. The mentality and determination is fantastic.

"I want to congratulate him."

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept his 100th clean sheet for Spurs, who reached the Champions League quarter-finals for just the second time in their history.

"I want to congratulate Hugo because it was his 100th clean sheet for Tottenham," Pochettino said.

"That is a massive achievement too."
