Italian Serie A giant Juventus made a monumental move Tuesday, announcing it has agreed to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid

A report by Sky Sports says Juventus agreed to a transfer sum of 105 million Euros ($123 million) to procure Ronaldo from the LaLiga club.

Ronaldo, who has played with Real Madrid since 2009-10 season when he transferred from Premier League side Manchester United, has become one of the most accomplished players in the sport's history.

Having scored 311 goals in just 292 appearances for Real Madrid, including 43 last season, it's no wonder he's won five FIFA Ballon d'Ors and finished runner-up five other times.

Ronaldo led Portugal to a Euro win in 2016, but flamed out of the 2018 World Cup in the Round of 16 with a loss to Uruguay.

Now 33 years old, Ronaldo has lost some of the devastating pace that made hism a deadly threat in opposing team's half of the pitch, but he's matured into a patient goalscorer and poacher in front of net.

Ronaldo's move to Juventus could create a domino effect throughout the rest of the transfer window as Real Madrid likely will look to procure a top-ranked talent to replace him.

PSG's Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea's Eden Hazard have all been linked with moves to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
