U.S. Women's National Team star Alex Morgan apologized Wednesday on social media for the incident over the weekend at Disney World in which she and two other soccer players were kicked out of an Epcot restaurant.

"I want to apologize for my actions that occurred over the weekend. I will learn from this (and) make sure it does not happen again," she posted on Twitter with the hashtag "liveandlearn".

According to authorities, a "highly impaired" Morgan, a star for the World Cup-winning U.S. national team who also plays for the Orlando Pride, another woman and MLS players Donald Toia and Giles Barnes of Orlando City SC were rude and verbally aggressive with park security and other guests, leading to their ejection Sunday from the United Kingdom pub in Epcot.
