Ishant Sharma has been fined by the ICC for his send-off of Dawid Malan on day three of the first Test between England and India.
The India seamer was in inspired form on Friday and posted figures of 5-51, with Malan (20) his first wicket of the day.
Malan had been enduring a difficult Test after a couple of woeful drops in the slips and Ishant celebrated his dismissal in close proximity, the umpires deeming his actions "had the potential to provoke an aggressive reaction".
This was classed as a level one breach of the ICC's code of conduct, with Ishant fined 15 per cent of his match fee and receiving one demerit point.
