Cameron Bancroft insists he has no issue with David Warner and is keen to play alongside his banned Australia team-mate again.
Bancroft and Warner were both suspended last year for their involvement in the national team's ball-tampering scandal in South Africa, with the former vice-captain still serving his 12-month ban.
Batsman Bancroft returned to action for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League in December, having been out for nine months, and quickly made the headlines with an interview in which he claimed he "didn't know any better" than to go along with Warner's tampering plan.
These comments prompted Australia coach Justin Langer to claim he felt "like the director of a soap opera", but Bancroft is now keen to stress that he remains on good terms with Warner.
The 26-year-old says he would like to play with both Warner and suspended captain Steve Smith in future.
Asked whether he would be keen to play with Warner again, Bancroft told reporters: "Absolutely. We're good people, very honest and passionate people. Dave, like Steve, all of us, we've all gone through our challenges, haven't we?
"We've all been there for each other and I look forward to a day like that where I can go out and play cricket with Dave again. He's a quality cricketer and someone who's achieved so much in that cricket team.
"As a player like myself, you strive to be around players like that. For my own learning as a cricketer, I'd love for that to happen."
