Mohammad Amir will make a belated arrival in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after the Pakistan paceman was granted a visa.

The left-arm quick was a notable absentee when Pakistan landed at Gatwick Airport on Monday for a tour that will include a one-off Test with Ireland, two against England and a pair of Twenty20 clashes with Scotland.

Amir was unable to travel with his team-mates due to a visa not being issued in time, but has now been cleared to make the journey to the UK.

Pakistan face Kent at Canterbury in an opening tour match beginning on Saturday.

The tourists then meet Northamptonshire in another four-day warm-up match before taking on Ireland, prior to facing England at Lord's and Headingley.
