Floyd Mayweather wants more.

The boxing superstar took to Twitter early Sunday morning to share a photoshopped image of himself and MMA standout Conor McGregor in the octagon, hinting at a UFC showdown and further hyping the rematch rumors.

Mayweather, 40, rejected the idea that he could accept an MMA fight and showcase his talents in UFC last month, but later posted a video of himself training in the octagon.

UFC president Dana White has made it clear that any fight would need take place under MMA rules in order for him to be on board with the bout.

“Obviously, the only way making that fight again makes any sense is if he comes over to the octagon,” White said last week on UFC Tonight. “We went over and boxed him, the UFC and Conor McGregor. And now it’s time for him to reciprocate and come fight in the octagon.

“Floyd said leading up to the fight with Conor that he would do both. So we’ll see what happens.”

Mayweather ended his brief retirement and beat McGregor in the boxing ring in an 10-round stoppage in Las Vegas in August to improve his perfect record to 50-0.
