Omri Casspi's time in the Bay Area has come to an end.

The Warriors on Saturday announced they have waived the Israeli forward to create space for point guard Quinn Cook to join the playoff roster.

Casspi, who has also had stints with the Kings, Cavaliers, Rockets, Pelicans and Timberwolves throughout his NBA career, signed a one-year veterans minimum contract with Golden State last July.

Casspi, 29, averaged 5.7 points and 3.8 rebounds in 53 games this season. He averaged 14 minutes of playing time per contest while starting seven matchups.

The Warriors dropped their third straight game with a 126-120 loss to the Pelicans on Saturday, but still hold the No. 2 spot in the Western Conference seven games back of the first-place Rockets.
