Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is back.
Curry will make his postseason debut and return for game two of Golden State's second-round series against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, the team announced.
He had been officially listed as probable on Monday before his status was upgraded on Tuesday.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry will not be on a minutes restriction when he makes his comeback, but also will not be pushed too hard.
"I feel like he's in a pretty good place to come back right now," Kerr said Monday, via ESPN. "He'll want to get his legs underneath him. So we'll try to find that balance between being cautious and letting him go a little bit.''
Curry has not played since March 23, which was his first game back after a right ankle injury, due to an MCL sprain in his left knee. Despite his absence, the Warriors have progressed through the postseason and cruised to a 123-101 win over the Pelicans in game one on Saturday.
"After missing as much time as he did, he's going to be like a kid in a candy store," Draymond Green said, via the San Francisco Chronicle.
