Warriors injury updates: Stephen Curry, Draymond Green to miss game vs. Nets

The Warriors will be without stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green when they face the Nets on Saturday, according to multiple reports.

Curry (groin) left Thursday's loss to the Bucks in the third quarter. Green (toe) hasn't played since suffering his injury Monday against the Grizzlies.

After Curry's MRI, the team classified the injury as a mild to moderate left groin strain.

“The MRI looked good in terms of not being too serious, but he’s not going to play tomorrow," Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters Friday. "It’s kind of something we’re going to evaluate over the next few days. He’s still sore.

“The MRI was encouraging, so it’ll be kind of a day-to-day thing. Obviously, we won’t do anything crazy. He’s going to be out until he’s healthy and ready to go."

Curry leads the Warriors in scoring, averaging 29.5 points per game. Green is averaging 7.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game.
