Greg Monroe's time with the Suns might be short-lived.

Phoenix is looking to flip Monroe before dealing with his contract buyout, ESPN.com reported. The Suns reportedly want to use Monroe's $17.8 million contract as a key trading piece.

The Bucks traded Monroe to the Suns on Tuesday, along with a pair of protected draft picks, to acquire Eric Bledsoe from Phoenix. However, it doesn't make sense for Monroe to stay with the Suns for long, since he doesn't fit in well with Phoenix's rebuilding vision.

If another team is willing to eat Monroe's contract buyout, that could help the Suns begin new plans to shuffle around their roster positioning — including a potential deal for 76ers big man Jahlil Okafor, according to the report.
