The Boston Celtics have the best record in the Eastern Conference, but it will be Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey who will lead Team LeBron in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

The Raptors improved to 33-15 with a 123-111 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday to clinch the best record in the Eastern Conference with games played through February 4, among the 14 conference teams with a head coach eligible for the 2018 All-Star Game.

Though the Celtics (35-15) have the East's best record, Boston coach Brad Stevens is ineligible for this year's All-Star Game because he coached the East team last year.

Casey, who is Toronto's winningest coach, will lead Team LeBron at the NBA All-Star Game and will be opposed by Houston Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni, who will lead Team Stephen. It will be Casey's first time coaching the All-Star Game in nine seasons, marking the longest tenure in Raptors history.

Because of the NBA's new unconferenced format, Casey will actually coach against two of his own players. Raptors stars DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry were both drafted to Team Stephen.

The 67th NBA All-Star Game will be played Sunday, February 18 in Los Angeles.
