The Suns are still looking to add to their roster.

Phoenix is exploring trades for a starting point guard, according to a report from ESPN . The Suns sent Brandon Knight, along with Marquese Chriss, to the Rockets on Thursday in exchange for Ryan Anderson and De'Anthony Melton.

The Suns also waived point guard Tyler Ulis, who started 43 games last season, in July.

Phoenix acquired Knight from the Bucks in February 2015. He averaged 28.7 minutes and 15 points in 117 games with Phoenix.

The Suns expect Anderson to start at power forward this season, according to the report. He averaged 9.3 points and knocked down 38.6 percent of his 3-pointers with the Rockets in 2017-18.

Devin Booker signed a five-year, $158 million contract extension with the Suns this offseason. They also added No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton and acquired former Villanova wing Mikal Bridges in a draft-day deal.
