The Knicks may be shopping Courtney Lee.

New York has been trying to move the 33-year-old guard, according to a report from ESPN, which cites unidentified league sources. The team is hoping to avoid dealing away a draft pick with Lee, the report says.

The Knicks and Hornets previously discussed a deal for Lee before last season’s trade deadline, according to a report from The Ringer.

Lee averaged 12 points and 2.9 rebounds in 76 appearances for the Knicks last season. He is also a strong perimeter defender who can guard multiple positions.

The 10-year veteran was originally drafted by the Magic in the first round of the 2008 draft. He has knocked down 38.9 percent of his career 3-pointers.

Lee has two seasons remaining on the four-year, $48 million contract he signed with New York in July 2016.

The Knicks will open the regular season Wednesday against the Hawks. Lee is not expected to play in that game because of a neck injury.
