Courtney Lee appears to want a trade.

The 31-year-old guard is hoping the Knicks will trade him to a playoff team or a contender, according to a report from the New York Post, which cites an unidentified league source. The Knicks have been shopping Lee this summer, the report says.

Lee has two seasons remaining on the four-year, $48 million contract he signed with New York in July 2016.

Lee averaged 12 points and 2.9 rebounds in 76 appearances for the Knicks last season. He is also a strong perimeter defender who can guard multiple positions.

The 10-year veteran was originally drafted by the Magic in the first round of the 2008 draft. He has knocked down 38.9 percent of his career 3-pointers.
