The Hawks have acquired point guard Jeremy Lin from the Nets, according to ESPN.

Lin played just one game for the Nets in 2017-18 before rupturing the patella tendon in his right knee and missing the rest of the season.

The 29-year-old guard is still rehabbing from his injury and told reporters he expects to be ready for training camp in about seven weeks.

The two teams will also exchange future second-round picks in the deal, according to ESPN.

It is unclear what else the Nets will receive in return. This story will be updated.

Lin joins rookie point guard Trae Young and veteran Dennis Schroder in a crowded back court with the Hawks.
