The Cavaliers are close to adding another wing player.

Cleveland is finalizing a trade for Clippers forward Sam Dekker, according to a report from ESPN. The teams are still working on the specifics of the deal, the report says.

Dekker averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game for Los Angeles in 2018. He spent his first two NBA seasons with the Rockets before he was sent to the Clippers in the Chris Paul trade.

The Cavaliers will provide Dekker with a “fresh start” on the court, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

The Cavaliers signed former Bulls guard David Nwaba this week. They have also reportedly inquired about free agent forwards Luke Babbitt and Trevor Booker.
