The NBA has fined Markieff Morris $25,000 for his role in an altercation just two minutes into the Wizards' 122-103 win over the Raptors Friday.

After Raptors forward OG Anunoby apparently tangled with Morris, sending him to the floor, Morris got up and the two shoved each other. When other players and officials rushed in, Morris shoved official Ken Mauer.

The NBA statement on the fine noted that Morris had been fined for "attempting to escalate an altercation and pushing an official …"

It was not a good night for the Morris family in terms of NBA penalties. In the very same media release, the NBA announced it had fined Markieff's twin, Marcus, $15,000 for criticizing the officiating after the Celtics' 116-92 loss to the Bucks Friday.

The Raptors lead the Wizards 2-1 in their first-round series. Game 4 is Sunday at 6 p.m. ET in Washington.
